नमस्कार पालकमित्रहो,
मी रवी वरे, पाठीमागील वीस वर्षापासून फक्त गणिताच्या ‘Basics’ वरच काम करत आहे.
आज आपणाशी काही मुद्द्यांवर संवाद साधू इच्छितो
(1) बोर्ड कोणतेही असो –
[SSC, CBSE, ICSE]
गणिताचे Basics सगळ्यांचे सारखेच असते. त्यामुळे, गणित शिकणे व शिकवण्यासाठी गणिताचा पाया पक्का असणे जरुरीचे आहे. पण दुर्दैवाने एक गोष्ट नमूद करावीशी वाटते की, बहुतांश विद्यार्थ्यांचे Basics कच्चे असते.
पण, Basics नेमके कुठे व काय काय कच्चे आहे. हे कळणे गरजेचे आहे.
त्यासाठी, ही Basic Test उपयुक्त आहे.
(2) दहावीच्या मार्कांचा फुगवटा –
अलीकडे दहावीच्या बोर्ड परीक्षेत खिरापतीसारखे मार्क्स वाटली जातात. या मार्कांवरून कुणी विद्यार्थ्याच्या करिअरचे नियोजन करीत असल्यास ते प्रचंड धोकादायक आहे.
एकदा तटस्थपणे विद्यार्थ्याला नेमके ‘काय येते’ व ‘काय येत नाही’ हे पाहणे गरजेचे आहे.
त्यासाठी, ही Basic Test खूपच उपयोगाची आहे.
(3) अकरावी (Science) व डिप्लोमा प्रवेश घेणाऱ्यांसाठी –
या वर्गांसाठी गणिताचे बेसिक पक्के असणे गरजेचे आहे.
नाहीतर दहावीला 80% पेक्षा जास्त मार्क मिळवणारे विद्यार्थी देखील नापास/YD होताना आपण पाहतो आहोत.
या वर्गांसाठी आवश्यक असणारे ‘Basics’ पक्के आहे का नाही?
हे या Basic Test मधून निश्चित होते.
त्यानुसार, कृतीयुक्त (Action) उपाय करता येतात.
(4) पाचवी व दहावीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी –
पालकमित्रहो,
विद्यार्थ्यांना गणितातील ‘सर्वच’ येत नाही असं कधीच होत नाही. जास्तीत जास्त चार ते पाच संकल्पना – क्षमता (Concepts – Abilities) येत नसतात किंवा समजलेल्या नसतात.
पण, बिचारे विद्यार्थी गणितातील ‘काहीच येत नाही’ म्हणून सगळ्यांच्या ‘टपल्या खात’ असतात.
त्यांच्या कोणत्या ‘Concept -Abilities’ कमकुवत आहेत?
हे या Basic Test मधून नक्की कळेल.
(5) Corona च्या पार्श्वभूमीवर –
विद्यार्थी शाळांपासून गेली वर्षभर Disconnect आहेत. शिक्षक आपापल्या परीने ‘ऑनलाईन अभ्यास’ घेण्याचा प्रामाणिक प्रयत्न करत आहेत.
पुढील वर्षी नववीचे विद्यार्थी दहावीत
तसेच इतर विद्यार्थी देखील पुढील इयत्तेत जाणार आहेत.
यावर्षी एखादा दुसरा टॉपिक नजरचुकीने राहिला असला किंवा समजला नसला तरी काहीही फरक पडत नाही.
कारण, ज्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे ‘Basics’ पक्के आहे.
ते 10वीचे गणित चांगल्या प्रकारे हाताळू शकतात.
‘Basics’ नेमके किती पक्के आहे?
हे समजण्यासाठी ही Basic Test उपयोगी पडेल.
सारांश,
विद्यार्थ्याला अचूकपणे समजून घेण्यासाठी ही Basic Test खूपच उपयोगाची आहे.
